Keeping your home—and your community—clean and green has never been easier thanks to the recycling program at B&C Ace Home & Garden Center in Grass Valley, CA. Whether you're cleaning out the garage or replacing household items, our store offers a convenient way to responsibly dispose of common waste materials.
What You Can Recycle at B&C
1. Paints and Varnishes. Got leftover paint from a weekend project? Bring up to 5 gallons at a time to our paint counter. Make sure cans are in their original containers, with tightly sealed lids and visible labels. We’ll handle the rest, ensuring your paint is processed in an environmentally safe way.
2. Fluorescent Bulbs. Fluorescent bulbs require special handling due to their mercury content. Drop off up to four bulbs at a time at our warehouse roll-up gate. (Note: LED bulbs are safe to dispose of in your regular household trash.)
3. Household Batteries. Stop tossing used batteries in the trash! Our recycling bin in the electrical department is designed for easy drop-off. Just bring in your used AA, AAA, and other common household batteries—we’ll take care of the recycling process.
4. American Flags. Have a faded or torn American flag? Show your respect by retiring it properly. We offer a designated flag disposal container in the breezeway at the front entrance of our store. These flags are collected and retired with honor.
Why It Matters
Recycling these items prevents harmful materials from ending up in landfills and waterways, helping to preserve our environment and protect public health. At B&C Ace, we believe in supporting our community not just with quality products and expert advice, but also with sustainable practices.
Stop by today to take advantage of our easy, responsible recycling options—and while you're here, explore all that B&C Ace Home & Garden Center has to offer for your next project.
